cologne...? I need some nice smelling cologne and I mean I need an ORGASMIC scent. I need to smell good. Does anyone know of a good cologne for men? (Price does not count) Mallory replied: "abercrombie =]] i love their cologne and i can always tell when a guy wears it!! =]]"
coachxovuitton replied: "the abercrombie scent is really nice and axe isnt reallt cologne but i absolutely love the smell of it
haha
=]"
browneyedgirl replied: "Tommy the original one...i love it!
I also love HUGO"
Reeze replied: "Try Polo Ralph Lauren Purple, it's rare but it has a very nice scent. You can get it at Saks 5th Ave, or any Lancome outlet."
Patrick replied: "Im a cologne junkie and Ive experimented with hundreds of scents and the ones that I wear the most are Kenneth Cole Reaction, Dolce and Gabana, Armani Code, and Aqua Di Gio. These will get you tons of female complements/attention. Ive seduced many of my past girlfriends just with these scents."
zberles replied: "aight well dont go with all the basic stuf earlier ppl said, the last guy said some good stuf tho. right now rele the best tht not alot of ppl r wearing is diesel, no joke it cud defined as an orgasm in a bottle, u can get it at sephora for like $45 for 50ml" How to wear a cologne and deodrant? I'm 30yrs male and recently bought Acqua di gio cologne. I also wear Axe deodrant. I'm just wondering the best way to wear a cologne. Do Acqua di gio and Axe go together or not? What are the best places to wear a cologne on my body? How long does it lasts? Do you think that Acqua di gio cologne goes best with its moistuirizing gel and deospray?
I appreciate your time in answering my question. Desirea ♥♥ replied: "are you serious your parents never tought you....? i learn't
in grade 6? and theres instructions on the thing"
Kelly R replied: "I would either match your deodorant and cologne and purchase the same scent or get just an unscented antiperspirant that way no matter what Cologne you buy they aren't competing against each other.
Cologne or perfumes are best worn near areas where you generate more heat as it tends to help release that scent. Most just put it near there neck, faces, maybe a little on your chest. As a women I put it on wrists, bends of arms or legs, cleavage too : )"
Taylor B replied: "lmfao...i cant even be nice about this one" How to get cologne smell out of sink? We picked up a cool-looking cologne bottle at a thrift store, but we didn't care for the scent, so when we got home, we dumped the cologne down the kitchen sink. Now the kitchen sink smells like the cologne! I tried baking soda, dish soap, and bleach, and the scent still lingers! Any ideas? Thanks in advance! zoeraeone replied: "baking soda WITH white vinegar"
Joanne A. W replied: "Oooooh, isn't the smell awful. I did this a long time ago in the bathroom sink! I think I used Drain-O to get out the smell. Bleach would probably work too, but make sure you don't breathe any of this stuff."
Sensei replied: "Heck what type of cologne lingers like that??
You may need a caustic soap, like Drano"
dora k replied: "ya use cleanin sprays" What exactly is the difference between cologne and after-shave? Is there a real major difference between these two?
For Christmas, I received the Acqua Di Gio aftershave rather than the cologne I wanted. I don't use aftershave since I don't apply fragrances to my skin directly (I spray my clothes with it instead). I can't return it since there's no receipt and the box's wrapper has been removed. Would it be better for me to just givethe aftershave away and buy the cologne myself or would it be worth it for me to buy an empty spray bottle, fill it with the aftershave and use that as cologne? me1c01ciz replied: "cologne can use at anytime and any moment, but after-shave only can use after you shaving your bear."
cezzium replied: "Cologne is just for smelling nice.
Aftershave has ingredients in it to sooth the skin after shaving.
I would check the label of the aftershave and compare it to cologne.
Then if it looks okay, try a little on a cloth to see if it makes a difference.
Then go ahead if all comes out all right.
cez"
Fay9512 replied: "aftershave- u put it on ur skin AFTER U SHAVE. cologne- put it on anytime to make u smell good."
Juleette replied: "buy the cologne not after shave, you really don't need the after shave if you don't use it, and by applying cologne to your hair it stays far longer then on your body. By applying it to your hair it stays with you and your skins oils and skin flaking off (normal occurance) will cause the scent to leave you mroe quickly.
I'd return it honestly, mistakes are made during the holidays mostly people in a hurry, being understanding then return it when you have time, but remember when you get yoru cologne apply it to your hair not skin."
gala5_17 replied: "I think aftershaves have moisturizers in them, perhaps to protect the skin "after" you "shave." ..errr, maybe? idk. Why not just use it? Are you allergic to applying colognes and such to your skin directly>
If not, I wouldnt waste the time or money already spent on the gift, and just use it. I, as a woman, personally think its nice when a man uses aftershave....smells goooood! :)"
gm replied: "Aftershave contains less aromatic oil than cologne, and a bit more alcohol, and some skin-care chemicals in negligible amounts. In terms of how you would use one or the other, there is practically no difference unless you want to go OCD-level technical."
roy_glen2003 replied: "Use the after shave as a cologne."
sweetheart29 replied: "nothing" How do people keep the smell of cologne on them throughout the entire day? Like, i put on cologne, but by the end of the day you can't even smell it, unless you stick your nose in my shirt.
Whereas, I see other people who smell like cologne from a nice distance throughout the entire day, and I know they're not secretly putting it on every now and then.
Am i supposed to drench my clothes in cologne or something? Jen replied: "no, they have a small bottle they keep with them"
jackk. replied: "Spray your neck, and wrists.
Also spray on your clothes.
And bring a small bottle of it and squirt a little every 2 hours."
KAlison replied: "I heard that if you put it on your pulse, like your wrist, your chest, and your neck it lasts for a long period of time. It can also be the fact that they are using alot of cologne."
Jackie ♥ replied: "Noo don't drench your clothes in it . You'd be able to smell it from 10 feet away and it would probably give people a headache (that's what it does to me) , LOL . Just keep some with you and spray it on throughout the day ."
Sspeared replied: "Nah man. Ah playa's catalogue section 4: Stay out of the sun, dont touch the bus seat, have everybody you are trying to get to know you smell good to smell you early so b4 it runs out they get the message. That should do it man."
maddie replied: "thats a great question!
i just realized that i have always wondered that same thing!
i guess they just keep a bottle with them the whole day.
LOL
:)"
rdbn582 replied: "If there is a lotion that goes with it, put that on first then spray you perfume/cologne on your bare body, then you apply more on your clothes.
If you are using a cheap brand I cant help you on that!!
Avon sells cologne/perfume for cheap that last all day.
My husband use to keep a small little bottle on him and when he went to bathroom he would fresh up!"
softballho replied: "Buy high quality cologne not the cheap stuff... Just use a little it will last all day. put it on your skin neck and wrist are best people very close to you will smell it and you wont give anyone a headache..."
TexasQueen replied: "it just depends on the chemistry of your body. some colognes smell diferent on different people and some last longer on some people than others. You could try to use a body wash of the ssame cologne or after shave and if there is a lotion for men in the same cologne that you love that would especially keep it on. So basically layer your fragrance and it should stay on longer."
Johnny replied: "They put it on more than one time, that's the only way." What is the chemical difference between cologne and aftershave? I use aftershave but not much cologne. Can I make aftershave using the abundance of extra cologne? rebecca v d liep replied: ""Fragrances are manufactured in varying concentrations of essential oils in alcohol and other organic solvents, designated in order of increasing concentration as eau de toilette, after shave or toilet water 2-5%; eau de cologne or cologne, 5-10%"
or again "An Aftershave contains less perfume oil (around (1%-3%), therefore the scent isn't as long lasting as an Eau de Toilette. Many aftershaves contain soothing and cooling ingredients, such as Aloe Vera. This helps soothe the skin after a shave . The alcohol contained will also close skin pores opened by the hot water from your shave. Aftershave will only last for about 2-3 hours so, it isn't effective if you want your fragrance to last all evening. An Eau de Toilette contains more perfume oil than the Aftershave, typically around 4%-8%. However EDT's contain too much oil to be put on the face, especially after shaving. You will probably come up all red and blotchy as a result. An Eau de Cologne will contain 2%-5%. Therefore, an Eau de Cologne should be a lighter and not so longer lasting fragrance."" How to clean a cologne spill? My son broke and spilled a full bottle cologne on the carpet. We sopped it up as best we can. It's a week later and the smell is still very strong. Does anyone know of ways to get rid of the smell? eek replied: "Cover the area with a thick layer of baking soda. Leave on for several hours or over night and vacuum. You may need to repeat several evenings in a row."
Gabriele M replied: "Spills & Stains
A number of spills on carpets or
upholstery will cause stains or
leave odors. 20 MULE TEAM®
Borax can help on a few of these
problem stains. Before treating
carpet or upholstery, test an unexposed
area with a 20 MULE
TEAM® paste to make sure the
dye is colorfast to spot treatments.
For problem wet areas, blot up
spill, sprinkle on 20 MULE
TEAM® to cover area, let dry and
vacuum. For wine and alcohol
stains, dissolve 1/2 cup 20 MULE
TEAM® Borax in a pint of warm
water. Sponge in the solution,
wait 1/2 hour then shampoo the
spotted area. For pet urine and
sour milk odors, use same procedure
as listed for mattress odors.
NOTE: Your chances of success are
better the sooner you treat tough stains.
Mattress Odors
Urine odors from mattresses and
mattress covers may be neutralized
by dampening the spot and
sprinkling 20 MULE TEAM® Borax
over it. Rub into the areas and let
dry. Brush or vacuum to remove
the dry 20 MULE TEAM® Borax" How do you remove cologne/perfume odors from a carpet? My 3 yr old son dumped 4 or 5 bottles of cologne out on the carpeted floor. The smell is so overpowering it's sickening. I've tried a lot of different products to mask the odor or to neutralize it. Nothing seems to work! Help! Dragon Han replied: "carpet cleaners."
Cryssie R replied: "Rug steamer."
javy replied: "get a cat to piss on it"
alphonso_ratcliffe_jr replied: "A ton of Fabreze..."
Skipper1974 replied: "Go spend $20 for an overnight Rug Doctor Steam cleaner and get the spot with the steam cleaner....then when completely dry, use arm and hammer vacum powder..."
Roberto S replied: "Try Vinegar (white) and water. I was going to say use lysol but you mentioned the smell was overpowering."
dont kill me replied: "use a stain lifter"
KnowhereMan replied: "That much has probably sunken through the carpet into the carpet foam below... You'll probably have to steam clean it... Be sure to use some Arm & Hammer baking soda to help take out the smell..."
Matt Beezy replied: "Find out if they were oil-based or alcohol based. If it's oil-based use dawn. If it's oil based use water and air the room out with an open window."
Melanie L replied: "They have odor neutralizing things like neutra air. They are located in the sections that sell air fresheners. Baking soda may be less expensive and work well. It absorbs odors. Pour the soda on the carpet and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then vacuum it up. After doing that you may still want to spray some neutra air. You may want to repeat the baking soda application.
KEEP AWAY FROM PETS! Before you vacuum be sure that all pets are away. Baking soda can kill them."
lizardmama replied: "Maybe shake baking soda on it and leave it overnight...or for a few days. If that doesn't work, vinegar is an odor neutralizer and only smells like pickles until it's completely dry. You could try that, but it'll take a few days to dry out the pad too."
kitty.hicks replied: "Baking Soda, then vacume up after a lil while"
skyeblue replied: "Try using white vinegar. Soak a sponge or a big towel in it and let set for about 1 hour, then sponge up the excess water. Repeat as necessary."
wfgrg replied: "first, deep clean the carpet with a power scrubber and then spray . . use a product like FeBreze afterward for any remaining scent . . the carpet scrubber should do the trick"
Tarabeara replied: "Rent a carpet cleaning machine from your local grocery store or at wal-mart. Its only like 25 dollars and you can use it for a day or two."
[marshmallow] replied: "If all else fails, you can always just replace the carpet as a last resort." What kind of cologne should I get a guy for his birthday? He is my ex and we might get back together he is turning 16 but Imma see him one day before his birthday.
So what is a good fresh smelling cologne, I should get him?
And what else should I get him besides cologne? corundumweapon replied: "Yves St. Laurent's Live Jazz. DO NOT get him stuff that everyone wears like Acqua di Gio, Cool Water, Gravity, Polo Green, etc. unless you want him to smell like every other guy."
Kai K replied: "If there are any crabtree and evenly near where you live try getting nomad...... If he is into a team of some sort try getting him a t-shirt or hoodie. Hope that helps!!!" Newly purchased house smells like cologne? What is the quickest way to get rid of it? I just purchased a 1955 home that smells like a man's cologne. It is a bit overwhelming. Besides opening the doors and letting a breeze through what else can I try? There is no carpet, just hardwoods. littleleita replied: "Get the floors cleaned, and paint:)"
Angelina replied: "febreeze"
rapoorani replied: "air it out, air freshners"
Mike L replied: "Febreeze, i prefer the one with the purple cap, lavender something."
jessica j replied: "Try using some Air freshener, like the ones you plug into the wall! (:"
sofy8821 replied: "Febreeze! It may be caught in soft furnishings if there are any left from the previous owners. Also, wallpaper is like a sponge, so strip it off!"
Brianna B replied: "I would just take out all the furniture, curtains, etc. Then spray the whole house down with febreze and have it thoroughly cleaned. Spray all the furniture and curtains with febreze also."
Amaury loves me does he...? replied: "Mop the floor with a smell you like and pass a a wet rag through your walls with that liquid of your choice."
Agent 40 replied: "Change the door locks including the automatic garage opener!
Oust newest spray air and surface in unscented. Spray on doorknobs, windows use Windex.
Open chimney chute for backdraft, sucks air out of the house.
Cold air might blow in also."
frankie77 replied: "A good thorough cleaning should help. you might need to paint the walls. I would use a good primer like Kilz first. Try cleaning with vinegar or ammonia based products. Obviously, any drapes should be professionally cleaned."
racer123 replied: "Place a few glasses, filled with vinegar, throughout the house, for the next 24 hours! You will be amazed at the difference this $2.00 fix will make. Be sure to wipe-down the bathroom walls with a vinegar reduction as well. Rinsing is not neccessary!"
jyojos replied: "Start staying in ,
Cooking, baking extensively!
You could start cleaning the floor with some perfumed solution" |
